We regret to inform you that the 2020 Ontario Mine Reclamation Symposium & Field Trip in Timmins, Ontario scheduled June 23 and 24 is cancelled in an effort to help keep our communities safe from the COVID-19 virus. We will look at options for an event later this year if possible. Please stay safe.

The 13th Annual Ontario Mine Reclamation Symposium and Field Trip will showcase the rich mining history of the Timmins area through technical presentations and tours of local sites, issues and solutions, in addition to a variety of other reclamation, rehabilitation, and remediation projects from elsewhere. The symposium is an opportunity to bring together practitioners in the field of land reclamation including scientists, industry, students, and general interested parties to share knowledge and ideas and also to encourage collaboration. Most of all, we aim to highlight the history of extraction industries and recognize the successes of Ontario practitioners in the field of reclamation.
