Presentation Summary

About the Speakers

Fred Keating, Fred Keating Media

Fred Keating is known as “Canada’s Massacre of Ceremonies”. He became an annual CLRA companion and colleague over a number of years and is returning to ensure safety and security at our 50th anniversary event in 2025. Fred is a familiar face at many national and international events and known for stickhandling potential glitches from the podium with humour. And embarrassment.

He is also no stranger to serious discussions, panel moderation, and interviews with keynote speakers and subject specialists.

Fred has also been active in broadcast television and film. More information on his adventures in those realms can be found at www.imdb.com. After serving as founder and president of Lindisfarne Productions Inc. (a corporate video venture) in Edmonton from 1982 to 2022, Fred reinvented himself as Fred Keating Media in BC. So far, so good!

He was diagnosed with dementia over a year ago. And doesn’t care who knows it.
